The Quality of Our Products – Our Guarantee to You
We know that a wood and/or pellet stove is an investment. It’s a product that should last for a long time and not cause issues in use. Expensive maintenance costs are generally unwelcome, to put it mildly. We’ve placed a lot of emphasis on the design of our stoves. That’s why we can confidently offer a 10-year warranty on the stove, assuming normal use.
Several things are important to achieve high quality. First and foremost is the choice of materials. In our stoves, the stones, the door, and the burner are the most important elements that determine quality, in addition to construction and combustion technology.
Good soapstone can last for centuries. It’s extremely well-suited to withstand temperature changes—it was formed under far greater temperature shifts. A high-quality door can function well for many decades. It’s essential to use good-quality steel or cast iron and ensure a robust construction. The Blucomb burner is made of very high-grade, thick stainless steel, precision-cut with automated machinery, and welded. Each burner is inspected by an expert at Blucomb to ensure top quality and perfect performance.
Of course, savings could be made on the stones, door construction, or burner materials—but we don’t cut corners because this would mean a loss of quality, especially in the long term.
The stove’s design also focuses heavily on user-friendliness. This is really the foundation of the whole pellet stove technology: as robust as possible, so no tiny wires, screws, or components can jam or break. If something does go wrong, we’re always ready to help—and we’ll be generous about it. Mistakes can also happen during use, and we won’t exploit those as a goldmine for “after-service” profits. We sell high-quality stoves, not stove-related services.
